An Apple technology tip that we use all day every day.

Please note: The following has been put together by Apple people for Apple people.

Suppose for instance, you're a Rugby League fanatic, (which we're not,) and want to keep up with the latest news on the upcoming State of Origin matches - we've recently come upon a way of doing this which we use all day every day.
This is what to do.

1. Do a Google search on "State of Origin news," and this window will appear at the top of the results that come up.

2. Click on this window and it will change to this.

3. Take a copy of this and incorporate it into an email to yourself like this. In the "Subject" part, put whatever is the most meaningful for you.

4. Send it, and almost immediately this will appear in your incoming emails.

5. Drag this on to your desktop and it will appear like this

You can then click on this "envelope," (for want of a better word,) at any time to be taken to the link you need to click on to be taken to what you may want to see or listen to.

To us, this is such an interesting/exciting way to organise links that you may wish to use and keep using in the future. And something that's even more interesting and exciting is that it's so easy to create folders into which groups of these envelopes can be put, like this.

As we've said, the above has been put together by Apple people for Apple people. And perhaps there are even better ways for even Apple people to use, and also that there are equivalents for PC people which our readers could share with us, for sharing with other readers.
